Rod Galarza earned his law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Seton Hall University. He is a member of the State Bar of Arizona Committee on Minorities & Women in the Law; the Board of Directors for the Maricopa County Bar Association; the Thurgood Marshall Inn of Court; and he is the Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Maricopa County Bar Foundation. Rod clerked for the Honorable Robert D. Myers at the Superior Court of Arizona (Maricopa County) before joining the Office of the Phoenix City Prosecutor, where he served as lead counsel in more than 100 jury trials. He served honorably with the U.S. Marine Corps in Okinawa, Japan and enjoyed diplomatic status while serving on Embassy Duty as a Marine Guard in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and Brasilia, Brazil. He is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Arizona; the United States District Court, District of Arizona; and the United States Supreme Court.
