In prosecuting construction defect cases, a team approach is utilized. A partner and associate attorneys are assigned responsibility for each file, and coordinate the efforts of a trained team of paralegals, legal assistants, and the most knowledgeable and experienced construction and materials experts and consultants worldwide.
Our practice is limited to California and Arizona, and includes all state and Federal courts; however, on a case-by-case basis and upon special admission, we have handled cases filed in Nevada, Colorado, Texas, New York, Kansas, Washington, and Pennsylvania.
Kasdan Simonds regularly conducts seminars and other educational programs for professionals, industry associations, and the public. We participate actively in legislative efforts to improve the judicial environment of our client base, and serve as amicus curiae in substantial cases involving protection of homeowner rights. We also participate in construction related and professional associations, such as several chapters of the Community Associations Institute, the California Association of Community Managers, the Apartment Owners Association, and the Executive Council of Homeowners.
