Barry Vaughan to speak at Veritext Construction Defect Litigation Seminar.

Barry Vaughan, a partner of Kasdan Simonds Riley & Vaughan LLP, will be a guest speaker at the Veritext Construction Defect Litigation Seminar held at the Costa Mesa Hilton Hotel March 17 from 2-5 p.m.

The seminar will cover “hot topics” on construction defect insurance issues and SB-800. The Costa Mesa Hilton is located at 3050 Bristol Street, just south of the I-405 interchange. The seminar cost is $100 for attorneys and $75 for paralegals and will count for 3 hours of MCLE credit.

Vaughan, who will join a panel of construction defect and insurance experts, is one of the leading construction defect lawyers in California, and has been a partner of Kasdan Simonds Riley & Vaughan since 2001.

He earned his law degree from the University of Chicago Law School, where he was on Law Review, after receiving his undergraduate degree in Philosophy from the University of Colorado. Vaughan was admitted to the California State Bar in 1987, and is licensed to practice before all state and federal courts in California and Colorado, and before the United States Supreme Court.

Vaughan is a member of the American Bar Association (Member: Litigation Section); State Bar Association of California (Member: Litigation Section); Orange County Bar Association (Member: Construction Defect Section); and San Bernardino County Bar Association.
